
He served his country with the US Army from 1953 to 1955 and again from 1955 to 1957. Harry was retired from ShopVac/Canton Manufacturing and had previously been employed Masonite. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and fishing in his younger days and was a lifelong NASCAR Fan and followed Darrell Waltrip and Kevin Harvick.
Survivors include his wife Nancy S. (Slater) Coxhead who he would have celebrated 35 years with on June 20, 2018; sons, John (Shari) Coxhead, Troy, Fred (Ruth) Coxhead, Gillett, Jason Johnston, Tucson, AZ; daughter, Sherrie (Glenn) Westerfer, Millerton; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews; sisters-in-law, Karen (Charles) Masteller, Shotgun Hollow, Kathy Assumpcao, Towanda, Cindy Slater, Shotgun Hollow and many friends.
Calling hours were held Tuesday, June 19,at the Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral & Cremations Services, Inc., Troy, with his memorial service held at the conclusion of calling hours.
Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Hilton Cemetery, Troy.
