Glenn M. Ward

   Glenn M. Ward, 82, Springfield, PA passed away on Monday, April 23, 2018 at his home.  He was the loving husband of Mary Norma (Varney) Ward.  The couple married December 15, 1956 and had 60 happy years together.
    Glenn was born on May 1, 1936 in Berrytown, PA, son of the late Kenneth and Bessie (Kier) Ward.      
    He was a 1954 graduate of Troy High School and was a truck driver for Leprino Cheese until his retirement.
     He was a long-time member of Mt. Pisgah Wesleyan Church, was a member of the Bradford County Antique Tractor Association, and the North East Antique Tractor Pulling Association.  Glenn was passionate about tractors and attended every pulling event in the region that he could.

        Glenn is survived by his loving wife Mary Norma; children Michael (Mellissa) Ward, Sayre, PA, and Annette (Daniel) Patton, Springfield; grandchildren: Jennifer (Noah) DePew, Jason Ward, Deric Ward, Dustin Patton, and Austen Ward; great grandchildren: Ian Hart, Jason Ward, Jr, Joslyn Ward, Tucker Depew, and Cireanna DePew;  brother Robert (Nancy) Ward; sister Patricia Merrill, along with several nieces and nephews.  
    He was preceded by his parents and his great granddaughter Madison DePew.
    The funeral service to honor Glenn’s life was held on April 28 at Mt. Pisgah Wesleyan Church,  with pastors Rev. Jeff Falke and Rev. Lynn Ensign officiating.          Burial will be private at the convenience of Glenn’s family in Glenwood Cemetery, Troy, PA.     
    Arrangements have been entrusted to the Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. Troy, PA.
    Memorial contributions may be made in Glenn’s memory to the Mt. Pisgah Wesleyan Church, 6430 Berwick Tpke Columbia Cross Roads, Pennsylvania 16914.
