Gene and his brother Donald owned and operated the family’s dairy farm near Lincoln Falls until Don’s passing. Blessed with a strong constitution, Gene continued to farm, hauled cattle, and remained dedicated to his beloved land.
On May 26, 1978, he married the former Charlotte M. Bradley who had been a milk tester in Sullivan County. Together they shared over 30 wonderful years before her passing on Dec. 3, 2008. Gene will be lovingly remembered as hard working and good hearted. A big man with a strong handshake who never wore gloves; but also a giant teddy bear. He was loved by many and especially his caretakers at Susque-View.
Surviving are sister and brothers-in-law; Aletha (Bob) Mann, Lock Haven; special sister-in-love, Brenda (Durwood) Whiteley, Forksville; several nieces nephews and cousins.
