Frank Chrzan

4/1/2019

Frank Chrzan, 64, well known Troy, Pa. resident, passed away with family by his side on Monday, Apr. 1, 2019 at the Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre.
Born Mar. 2, 1955 in Troy, Frank Evan was one of four children in the family of the late Raymond J. and Lula “Toddie” (Jenkins) Chrzan.  He grew up on the Family’s dairy farm in Troy Twp. and graduated from Troy High School with the class of 1973.  In early years Frank worked for Troy Agway and gained experience in several construction trades that led to establishing the Chrzan Construction Company which he owned and operated for many years until recently retiring.  An avid hunter, Frank enjoyed a life-long appreciation of nature.  He especially loved times spent on many hunting trips to Colorado and teaching his grandkids to hunt.  Frank also was a talented woodworker and handyman.  He will be remembered by all who knew him as a person who spoke his mind honestly and told it as he saw it.  He believed in a good day’s work and instilled that work ethic on to this family.  Frank was a member and supporter of the NRA, the National Wild Turkey Federation and Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.
Surviving is his daughter, Jessica (Shane) Case of Troy and a son, Anthony Parker of Canton; grandchildren, Jacob Cummings, Justin Cummings, Madyson Case, Michael Case, Akia Parker and Kannon Parker; siblings, Luann (Stanley) Kosloski, Pete (Cheryl) Chrzan all of Troy and Dick (Patrice) Chrzan of Mansfield; sister-in-law, Joyce Chrzan of Troy, several nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.  Frank also leaves his beloved dog, Levi.
www.pepperfuneralhomes.comA memorial service and celebration of Frank’s life will be held at a later date. Burial will be private.  In lieu of flowers, Frank would have appreciated donations in his memory to the Troy Sale Barn, c/o 1244 Redington Ave. Troy, Pa. 16947. Pepper Funeral Home & Cremation Facility in Canton is assisting the family with arrangements.
