Floyd K. Van Noy, 76, of West Burlington, passed away at home while surrounded by loved ones on March 23, 2018.
Born May 17, 1941 in Sayre, Floyd Kenneth was a son of the late Kenneth and Gladys (Wilbur) Van Noy.
He was a graduate of Troy High School’s class of 1958.  Floyd married the former Dianna Hillyard on November 12, 1960 at Elmira’s Northside Baptist Church.  They were blessed with 57 years together and raised seven children.
Floyd worked as an independent truck owner/driver for 35 years until retiring in 1989.  He started his career by hauling lime with his father and then drove for Smith’s, Halls, Jones and Wickwire Companies.  Floyd loved his family dearly and they made him very proud.  Most enjoyable times were spent supporting his grandchildren’s activities, especially wrestling.  He liked playing horseshoes, card games and square dancing.  Floyd also was a loyal Red Sox fan.  He enjoyed football and took many trips to watch Penn State games.

Surviving is his beloved wife, Dianna, children; Kenneth (Linda) Van Noy, Jim (Pennie) Van Noy, Julia (Troy) Jennings, Sandra Van Noy, Melanie Van Noy (John Stewart), Patricia (Louis) Martin and Virginia (Rick) Parks, 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren, two sisters; Mary McKerrow of Alba and Retta (Larry) Hoose of Muncy, several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
In addition to his parents; Kenneth who died July 18, 1987 and Gladys who died July 23, 1994, he was predeceased by his stepmother, Gertrude and special uncle and aunt, Carlyle and Eloise Van Noy.
Calling hours and the memorial service were held Tuesday, March 27, at Pepper Funeral Home and Cremation Facility, 578 Springbrook Dr., Canton  with Rev. Garry Zuber officiating. Those who wish may consider a donation in Floyd’s memory to Guthrie Hospice, 421 Tomahawk Rd. Towanda, PA 18848.
