Fabiano Erasmo Serpa, 84, of Millerton, passed away November 11, 2015 at Dar-way Elder Care in Estella.
Born on April 27, 1931 in Brazil South America, he was the son of Manoel F. and Ophir (Gomes) Serpa. Fabiano was of the Catholic faith.
He was a practicing attorney of law in Brazil before moving to New Jersey. In the states, he worked as a baker and a landscaper. Fabiano’s interests included reading and looking up information on the computer.
Surviving are several dear friends, Judie Bertani of South Carolina, Linda (Ed) Stewart of Pine City, NY, Mark (Audrey) Voorhees and family; Austin, Olivia and Dylan of Pine City. Also like family were his caretakers and staff at Darway who took wonderful care of Fabiano. He was preceded in death by a special friend, Earl Werner. As per his wishes, there will be no public services. Those who wish may make a memorial to a charity of one’s choice. Pepper Funeral Home, Springbrook Dr. in Canton is in care of arrangements.
