We celebrate the life of Elizabeth I. Spencer, 94,of Wicomico Church, VA, who passed away at Gloucester House Assisted Living on May 7, 2016. Elizabeth "Betty" was born to her predeceased parents, Gladys A. Spaulding and Claude L. Palmer at home in Mainesburg, on February 26, 1922.
She raised her family in Mosherville and lived in Canton for many years, then moved to Wicomico Church, VA about 10 years ago. She worked in sales for several years and was a member of Fairfields United Methodist Church.
Elizabeth is survived by four daughters, Laura Moland of Chesapeake, VA, Carol (David) Ludwig of Jersey Shore, PA, Connie (Jim) Edwards of Reedville, VA and Janet (Marvin) Burleigh of Magnolia, DE; sons, Norman Morrell of Wicomico Church, VA, and Charles (Amy) Morrell of Suffolk, VA; sister, Claudia Johnson; brother, Carl Palmer; two step daughters, Donna (Jerome) Mase of Lodi, NY, and Leatrice "Cookie" (Elwin "Skip") Caseman of Columbia Cross Roads; many grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Waldo F. Morrell and Carl M. Spencer; four sisters and two brothers.

Friends are invited to a memorial service 11:00 a. m. Saturday, May 21 at Fairfields United Methodist Church, Burgess. Burial will be in the East Canton Cemetery, Canton.
