Elinor May (Kline) Chubb, 87, of Troy, PA, passed away at home surrounded by her family on Thursday, June 23, 2016.
She was born on September 10, 1928 in Weatherly, PA, daughter of the late Peter and Loretta (Redman) Kline. She was Baptist by faith and was a member of the Mountain Laurel Camping Club.
Elinor is survived by her husband M. Wendell Chubb; children: David of Beaver Dams, NY, Deborah of Leesburg, VA, and Suzanne of Walton, KY; several nieces and nephews, as well as 11 grand cats, five grand dogs, three grand horses, and one grand donkey.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Doris and her husband Merlin Turner; brothers and spouses: Chester and Mertie Kline, and Norman and Jean Kline, and half-sister Ellen Strunk.
A graveside memorial service at Bradford County Memorial Park is planned for a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc., Troy, PA.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Elinor’s memory to the Bradford County Humane Society, South Route 220 Ulster, PA 18850.
