Elaine Ann Horton, 76, Troy, PA, died Monday, July 18, 2016 surrounded by loved ones at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre.
Elaine was born on March 26, 1940 in North Bingham, PA to Lee and Louise (Owen) Jeffers. She had worked as a cook for the Troy School District for several years. She was a member of TOPS, and enjoyed bowling, crafts, and painting.

She is survived by her daughters, Michele (Mark) Corby, Painted Post, NY and Carmen (Robert) Slagle, Colorado; sons, Brian (Mary) Moon, Fairport, NY, Ricky (Andrea) Moon, Elkland, PA, and Darwin (Jenny) Moon, Plattsburg, NY; sisters, Joann (Lee) Scully, North Bingham, PA and Caroline Starks of Florida; brothers, Robert Jeffers of Michigan and Dale (Peg) Jeffers of Ohio; grandchildren, Sara, Tanya, Daniel, and Joseph; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family at Haughey Funeral Home, Inc. in Corning, NY.
