Born June 14th, 1948 in Troy, he was the son of William D. and Betty L. (Bailey) Mosher. Known to all as “Skip,” he was a man of imposing countenance with a heart of gold. Skip was well acquainted with rigorous labor, having worked several years in construction with S.E. Williams Co. of Canton. Eventually he became an over the road trucker, owning and operating his own rig. During the 1970’s when C.B. radios were popular Skip was a member of the Happy Handles C.B. Club, and was well known over the air waves as “Legal Skip.”
He was a life member of the Canton Fire Department as well. Skip enjoyed hunting, country music and participating in local tractor pulls.
With his warm smile, friendly handshake and easy going demeanor, Skip formed instant, but lifelong, friendships with just about everyone he met.
