She was born on September 8, 1933 in Towanda, the daughter of the late Leslie and Wilma Craig Schill.
Doris grew up in the Big Pond area, graduating from Troy High School. She married Vern Vosburg in 1952 and celebrated 45 years of marriage prior to his passing in 1997.
Doris was a homemaker, staying home to raise her six children. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Doris enjoyed playing the piano and continued to do so while at the Manor. She also had a beautiful voice, singing for many years in the church choir and also the choir at the Manor. Doris attended the East Smithfield United Methodist Church and in later years the Mt. Pisgah Wesleyan Church.
She is predeceased by her huband Vern Vosburg, son-in-law Frank Morgan, grandson Michael Morgan, great-granddaughter Macey Leonard, aunt Arlene Snedicor, nephew Gary Adams, great-nephew Corey Adams, step-father Guy Stewart, step-brother Dale Stewart, brother-in-law Howard Swope, and dear friend Robert McDermott.

Vosburg, Bradenton, FL, and Jan L. and Jennifer Vosburg,East Smithfiled; grandchildren Jason and Jess Vosburg, Kyle Leonard and Caitlin Cushna-Leonard, Jamie and Suzanne Vosburg, Dylan Vosburg and Brenda, Katrina and Shannon Oswald, Jolynn and Shawn park, O.B. and Katie Wood, Emily and Matt Brown, Andrea Belawske, Matt Morgan, Brittany and Michael Jungquist, Shane Vosburg, Tyler Vosburg, Nicolas Vosburg, Benjamin Vosburg, Douglas Vosburg, and Allyson Vosburg, great-grandchildren Wyatt, Walker, Chloe, Kellum, Alex, L.J., Jordyn, Hannah, Trevor, Taylor, Hope, Scarlett, Luna, Caleb, Rona, Brooklyn, and Michael; sister Carol Adams, Wysox; uncle and his wife Robert and Doris Craig; niece Delores Smith, Athens; nephew and his wife Ron and Joanie Vosburg, and nephews Danny Adams and Randy Adams.
Friends and family may call February 13, from 3 -5 pm at the Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 225 South Main Street, Athens, PA.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the funeral home at 5 pm with the Rev. Lynn Ensign officiating.

Burial will be in Union Cemetery, East Smithfield, at the convenience of the family.
