
She was a wonderful cook and baker who enjoyed putting on a big feast of a meal. During many summers, several of her nephews would stay and help on the farm. She enjoyed tending to her flower gardens, grew large vegetable gardens and canned. Most recently Doris enjoyed many activities at the Bradford County Manor, especially stick weaving.
In addition to Carl, her beloved husband of 58 years, she was predeceased by an infant granddaughter, Tammy Stone, daughter-in-law, Kathy Stone, granddaughter-in-law, Heidi Wooster and eight siblings.
Calling hours are 11 - 12:00 P.M. Thursday, Aug. 17, at Pepper Funeral Home, 578 Springbrook Dr., Canton. Rev. Duane Taylor will officiate the funeral service at noon followed by burial in Beech Flats Cemetery.
