Donna (Bryington) McIlwain of Killeen, Texas went to be with the Lord on May 2, 2019.
Donna McIlwain was born on May 6 1954 in Blossburg, Pa to the late John (Jack) and Jessie Bryington. On July 22, 1978 Donna married the love of her life, Joseph McIlwain. They shared nearly 41 wonderful years and raised two children. She was a wonderful house wife while her husband was in the Army. Upon his retirement she started teaching at various private Christian schools. She also mentored young wives new to the Military over the issues that comes with Military life. She also liked to travel with her best friend. Together they have seen 49 of the 50 states, as well as their travels abroad to Ireland, England, Wales, and Scotland, as well as taking a cruise to the Bahamas. She went to her home town of Canton, Pa. every summer to beat the heat of Texas. She was active in cancer programs.

Donna was predeceased by her parents, sister Glenda Thompson, her twin brother Daniel Bryington.
Donna is survived by her husband Joseph McIlwain of Killeen, Texas, daugher Jennifer (Michael) Young of Norfolk Virgina, son Jeremy (Esther) McIlwain of Killeen, Texas. Sister Doris (Dale) Terry of Elmira, N.Y., sister Linda Johnson of Elmira N.Y., brother Paul (Carolynn) Bryington of Gillett Pa., brother John (Gail) Bryington of Roaring Branch, Pa.
In lieu of flowers the family asks you to make a donation to a cancer fund of your choice in Donna's name.
Memorial service will be held at Ellington Mountain Church on July 27, 2019 at 2 p.m. Family gathering will be held after the service.
