Donald was born January 28, 1951 in Sayre to Marjorie Curtis of Towanda. He attended Towanda High school. He worked for Vandermark’s Logging Company for many years, after which he was employed by Standing Stone Township until he retired at age 62. He was preceded in death by his sister Diane Weber, brother-in-law William Dickinson, in laws Howard and Mary Jane Dickinson and his grandparents.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards on Sundays, gardening, spending time with his treasured dogs, Hunter and Gizmo as well as the occasional trip to the casino.
Donald is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 39 years, Susan (Dickinson) Kepner, his son Donald (& Lori) Kepner of Rome, Pa., daughter Jessica Kepner (& Joe Taylor) of Towanda, grandchildren Austin Senn-Bishop and Lorin Kepner of Rome, and MacKenzie Taylor of Towanda, his mother Marjorie Colegrove of Rome, siblings Linda Dehaven of Rome, William (& Debbie) Kepner of Rome, Cecil (Patricia) Colegrove of Wyalusing, sister-in-law Tammy (Guy) Brown of Wysox, brother-in-law Steven (Faith) Dickinson of Wysox, Brian (Becky) Dickinson of Rome and numerous aunts, uncles nieces, nephews and cousins. He is also survived by his best friend David Miller of Asylum Township. He will be greatly missed by all. A private service will be held by the family at a later date.
