David Martin Ross, 93, of Burlington, Pa., passed away Sunday morning, March 20, 2016 at the Bradford County Manor in West Burlington Township, Pa. David was born on July 3, 1922 in Troy, Pa., the son of Martin and Susan Bailey Ross.
He was a graduate of Troy High School and later served with the U.S. Marine Corps.
In early years, David was employed by Ward LaFrance and American LaFrance in Elmira, N.Y. He was self employed as a truck driver for many years until his retirement. David enjoyed stock car racing on the weekends with his sons, riding a motorcycle, antique cars and following NASCAR.

Surviving are children, Sally Woleslagle and husband Duane, Mountain Lake, Pa., Barbara Kay Reed and husband Bob, Deland, Fla., David H. Ross, Monroeton, Pa.; step children, Max Simcoe, East Troy, Pa., Shelba Wolfgang, Lehigh Valley, Pa., Sharon Campbell and husband Herbert, Lawrenceville, Pa., Donnie Simcoe and wife Debbie, South Williamsport, Pa.; sister-in-law, June Ross, Alba, Pa.; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; step grandchildren' step great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wives, Edna Jeanne Morris Ross, and Mary Louise Williams Ross on July 26, 2011; son, Daniel Ross on April 21, 2006; step-son, Jack Simcoe on July 20, 2010; and sister, Marian Slater.
A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
