David was born August 13, 1962 in Langdale, Ala. to Frank King Cahill and Byrle Virginia Stewart.
He was a veteran who proudly served in the Army. He was a man of many talents and interests, and who had a wonderful outlook on life. He loved to laugh and joke. Spending time with his boys was a highlight he enjoyed. He loved music, being a mechanic, enjoying the desert, military history, politics, games, bartering with his brother-in-law Patrick and his family. Sitting and having coffee with his wife and talking was one of their favorite things they enjoyed.
Surviving are his wife, Nancy (Cole) Cahill; sons, Jason (Lisa Whalen) Cahill of Prescott, Ariz., Garrett (Meighan Meadows) Cahill and Tanner Cahill of Bullhead City, Ariz.; two grandsons, Jasper and Noah; step-daughters, Jessica (Ira) Nienhueser, Massawa AFB, Japan and Kim (Victor) June of Kutztown, Pa.; siblings, Gail Pittman of Eclectic, Ala., Randy Cahill of Alaska, Terry (Lisa) Cahill of Bakersfield, Calif., Debbie Simmons of McCloud, Calif., Fran (John) Brock of Estacada, Ore., Dawn (Patrick) of Willow Valley, Ariz. and Shawna (Chris) Torrance of Pomona, Calif.; mother-in-law, Eloise Bennett of Grover, Pa; brothers-in-law, Bob (Brenda) Cole Jr. of Ogdensburg, Pa and Greg (John Hamlin) Cole of Stamford, Conn.; sisters-in-law, Lynnette (Mike) Neupauer of Williamsport, Pa., Terri (Bob) Hoops of Easton, Pa. and Lauri (Vinnie) Pagano of Chandler, Ariz. He had many nephews, nieces, cousins, great nephews and nieces, and friends who held a special place in his heart. Also surviving are his Army brother, Joel Ivy; his ex-wives Margie Wheeler and Marguerite Rutherford and their families.
A memorial service in honor of Dave will be made at a later date.
