David was born on March 16, 1954 in Blossburg and was the son of Margaret Anne (Collister) Vroman of Wellsboro and the late Judson James Vroman. He had worked for American Lumber for 24 years then worked for Danzer Americas Veneer. He was a member of the Marine Corp League/Toys for Tots and enjoyed fishing and hunting.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his life partner of 20 years; Robbin L. Gardner of Linden, one son; David A. Vroman, Jr. “Cricket” of Trout Run, two grandchildren; Joshua D. and Kryslynne L. Vroman, four brothers; James M. Vroman of Ralston, Russell W. Vroman of Mansfield and Mark J. Vroman and Dallas E. Bastion, both of Ralston, four sisters; Dawn M. Route of Roaring Branch, Bonnie L. Vroman of Burlington, Jean C. Takach of Canton and Starr A. McLaughlin of Ralston.
There will be a gathering of family and friends to celebrate his life on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at 3:30 p.m. at Mt. View Fellowship, Bodines, PA.
The family requests that no flowers be sent, but rather memorial contributions made to Susquehanna Health Foundation/ marked Susquehanna Home Care & Hospice, 1001 Grampian Blvd., Williamsport, PA 17701 or St. Jude’s, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
