Darla “Dart” Rockwell, 62, Canton, PA passed away unexpectedly Monday, November 27, 2017.
Darla Jean, “Dart” to family and friends, was born June 30, 1955, in Sayre, PA, a daughter of the late Maxwell Harry and Eleanor Marie (Davidson) Rockwell. She was employed by Canton’s V.F.W. Post 714 and the Dollar General Store.
Dart was a member of Canton’s WOTM 981, V.F.W. 714 Auxiliary and Red Run in Roaring Branch. She enjoyed doing many things in life, but special times were spent with her children and grandchildren.
She was the glue of her family; hardworking, honest and true to her own self. She saw the good in everyone and was blessed with many special friends. She also enjoyed her privacy, loved listening to all kinds of music, gardening, caring for her house plants and playing tickets.

Surviving are children; Kelby Rockwell (Rosie Short), Trout Run; Jessica Rockwell Phelps and Tiffany Rockwell (Randy Baker) all of Canton; five grandchildren who were the light of her life; Audrey, Coldelia, Mallory, Rayden and Gauge; sister; Pam (Pat) Dowling of Canton, several nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother and sister; Darrell Rockwell on Oct. 15, 2004 and Dawn Crandall on Apr. 13, 2009.
Funeral was held Dec. 1, at Pepper Funeral Home, Canton. with Mr. Dennis Vermilya officiating a memorial service to celebrate Dart’s life.
