He was born in Sayre and had been a longtime resident of the Masonville section of Mount Laurel NJ.
Darin was raised on a horse farm in West Franklin where he developed his lifelong love of Horses and all animals. He raised Australian Shepherd dogs with two of them becoming champions.
He graduated from the Towanda High School with the class of '79.
Darin was a “jack of all trades” and helped everyone. He would do odd jobs for neighbors and friends. He fixed anything and everything. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, cousin, friend and neighbor who will be deeply missed by all.
Surviving are wife, Carrol; daughter and son-in-law, Jodie and William Kavanah; mother, Marilyn Wilcox; brothers, David, Denis, Damon, Darcy (Lori)and sister, Donna Wilcox; as well as aunts, uncles, several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by father, Robert Wilcox, Granville Summit, and sister, Doris Marie Wilcox.
Memorial service to celebrate Darin's life was held March 24, at Lee Funeral Home Mount Holly NJ.
Interment will be at the Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown, with full military honors.
