On the morning of Tuesday, May 3rd, 2016, Daniel Lee Cordner of Monroeton passed away quietly at Robert Packer Hospital. He was 57 years of age. Born March 16th, 1959 in Sayre, he was the son of Raymond and Letha (Capwell) Cordner. Daniel had been an auto mechanic for many years. Although somewhat shy and not a great socializer, he had his circle of close friends and the members of his family with whom he enjoyed spending time. More importantly, Daniel became a man of faith and accepted Jesus as his Savior.
He is survived by sons Bradley Cordner, Camp Hill, Tyler Cordner, Towanda, daughter Melissa Cordner, Monroeton; brothers Joe (& Sherry) Vincent and Herman Vincent; sisters Racheal Wandell and Rose (& Paul) Benjamin; granddaughter Lauren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his companion Susan Kunkle, brother Davy Cordner, and nephews Brian Vincent, Kevin Devine, Norman Fuller and Clifford Bump.
Funeral service were on May 5 at The Covenant Church, Monroeton, Pa. Funeral service followed with his brother-in-law Pastor Paul Benjamin officiating.
