Dan grew up as the typical farm boy who was well accustomed with hard work. He was endowed with a strong work ethic which served him well throughout his life. Besides his own family farm he worked at several neighboring farms.
As an adult Dan was employed as a machine operator at Schrader-Bellows, the Belmar Company (where he met his wife, Louise) and Swayze Folding Box Co. He was known for his great sense of humor and for being a jack-of-all-trades.
Dan is survived by his wife, the former Louise Wesneski, at home; sons Roger (& Judy) Woodward, Canton, Scott (& Nichole) Woodward, Troy, daughters Carol (& John) Landon, Canton, Donna (& Jeff) Bleeker, Sayre; 12 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-granddaughters as well as nieces, nephews & cousins.
He was preceded in death by his brother William, sisters Leatha, Leona, Liatha and Delores, grandson Brent Woodward and great-grandson Justin Landon.
