Born on March 13, 1992, in Towanda, he was the son of David and Beverly Harris Wesneski.
He was a 2011 graduate of Canton Area High School.
Cody was an avid fooftball player from age six up to his senior year until he sustained a knee injury in the first game of the season which ended his football career. Cody also enjoyed wrestling in his junior high years.
He made friends easily and was the social butterfly of his class; he was always willing to lend a hand when needed.
Cody found his faith and comfort in God at Liberty Church and was a member of the church for the past five years.
Cody was employed by South Mount Farms for the past two and half years and enjoyed his job and the sense of family he found there.
His most cherished moments were with his four-year old daughter, Layla Jean.
Cody is survived by his parents, David and Beverly Wesneski at home; daughter, Layla Jean Wesneski, Covington; fiancee Brooke Ostrander and their unborn son, Tucker Drew Wesneski of Troy; brothers, David (Hannah) Wesneski,Jr., Roaring Branch; Jordan (Ashley) Andrus and Derek (Shauna) Wesneski, all of Canton; grandmother, Jackie Wesneski, Canton; special friends, Mark (Tammy) Shedden and Ray (Mary) Gordner; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He had a special love for his canine best friends, Shadow and Yeager.
He was predeceased by his grandfathers, Robert (Bob) Wesneski, Robert (Bob) Harris, and grandmother, Frances Miller Harris.
Services were held May 30, 2018 at the Morse and Kleese Funeral Home,Inc, Canton. Services were officiated by Rev. Lon Williams, pastor of Liberty Church.
