Clifford D. Fleming, 78, of Route 514, Granville Summit passed away Monday, August 20, 2018 at the Robert Packer Hospital. Cliff was born May 30, 1940 in Sayre son of the late Lawrence and Beatrice (Dexter) Fleming. He was a graduate of Troy High School Class of 1958. Following his graduation from high school he joined his family on the farm and operated his dairy farm alongside his brother Elwin until his retirement.
Farming was Cliff’s life and even during major setbacks including his barn burning and taking a major portion of his cows he forged ahead and rented other local barns to continue his dairy operation.
He enjoyed retirement, family gatherings and meeting with his coffee club friends at Moose’s and at the Dandy

. Survivors include his wife of 28 years Patricia A. (Lutz) Fleming, Granville Summit; sons, Mark (Tammy Alexander) Fleming, Towanda, Jeff (Debra) Fleming, Athens, Greg (Laura) Fleming, Springfield, VA, Brett (Tammie Bailey) Fleming, Canton; stepchildren, Christy Swain, Troy and Corey Baxter, Aldi, VA; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother, Elwin (Joyce Bradford) Fleming, Granville Summit, Charles (Sandy) Fleming, Pittsburgh; sister Kathy Seeley, Canton; sister-in-law, Kate Fleming, Millerton; brother and sisters-in-law, Terry (Debbie) Lutz, Troy, Connie Hulslander, Canton, Sally (Roger) Hulslander, Troy, several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Cliff was predeceased by his parents, two brothers, Bill and Fred Fleming and his granddaughter, Tiffany Fleming.
The funeral was held August 25, at the Gerald W. Vickery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Troy, PA 16947 with Reverend Garry Zuber officiating.
Interment followed in Glenwood Cemetery Troy, PA.
