Christopher D. Starks, age 54, of Milan, PA, went home to be with Jesus on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at his home.
Christopher was born March 20, 1962 in Wellsboro, PA, a son of Roy F. and Judith (Whitteker) Starks. He was the husband of Patricia “Patty” (Putrow) Starks and would have celebrated 25 years of marriage on December 4th, 2016.
He was in the U.S. Air Force for 13 years. Christopher worked as a truck driver for TRL and Burlington Co.; Dietrick’s Milk Plant, and his last job was a school bus driver for the Athens School District.
He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Sayre, PA; the N.R.A.; former member of the Mason’s; was politically active and very patriotic. He played and taught the guitar.
Christopher is survived by his wife, Patricia; his mother, Judith Jayne of Buda, TX; his father, Roy F. (Eileen) Starks of Stonewall, TX; two daughters, Megan Yvonne Starks and Rebecca Elaine Starks of Milan; two sons, Jason (Madeline) Engen of Baton Rouge, LA, C.J. Starks of Las Vegas, NV;

He was predeceased by two brothers, Bradley Starks in 2005, and Michael Starks in 2004; maternal grandparents, Janice and Almeron Whitteker; paternal grandparents, Leora and Alvin Starks.
The funeral was held Saturday, May 14, 2016 from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, with military honors provided by the Tioga County Honor Guard.
