
Charlotte was born on September 20, 1923 in Keene, NH, daughter of the late Charles and Lorinsa (Cummings) Macomber. Charlotte served her country as a nurse in the Army Air Corps. During World War II. She was a member of the Roseville United Methodist Church, Troy American Legion Post # 49, and the Mansfield chapter of TOPPS. Her hobbies included baking, cross word puzzles, playing all sorts of games, and traveling with her husband.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her daughter Kathleen Dandois, grandson Richard Dandois, daughter-in-law Leonila Dandois, and grandson James Doyle.
Family and friends are welcome to call from 12:00-1:00 pm on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at the Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc. 1093 West Main Street Troy, PA. The service to honor Charlotte’s life will be held at the conclusion of the viewing at 1:00 on Saturday, January 16th at the funeral home with her pastor, Rev. Timothy Parker officiating.
Burial will follow in Tioga County Memorial Gardens with military honors given by the Troy Veterans Honor Guard.
