On the morning of January 28th, 2016, longtime Canton resident Charles Finogle passed away quietly at Troy Community Hospital. He was 84 years of age.
Born April 28th, 1931 in Dorrance, PA, he was the son of Arthur and Ethel (Baker) Finogle.
During his working life Charles was employed as a farm hand in Tioga County and later as an employee of the Canton Borough Street Department.

He is survived by his son, Ivan Finogle of Ohio, daughter Faye (& Robert) Spencer of Canton, brothers Orin (& Florence) Finogle and George Finogle, and sister Bertha Spencer, all of Canton, two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his two wives, brother Benny Finogle and sister Viva Minch.
In keeping with Charlie’s wishes, there are no public services.
