She was an avid reader and life-long learner, a trait that she passed down to her family as well as many students. She enjoyed completing crossword puzzles, hosting family meals, competing in trivia and card games as well as savoring a glass of her family’s homemade wine. Most of all Kay enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and reliving great memories through her story telling. She held fond memories of family beach, lake and camping vacations. Kay stayed active with the help of her golf friends, osteo girls exercise class, knitting club and book club and many of those friends continued to spend time with Kay visiting her at Mercy House.
She was predeceased by her parents, Mary & Wilson Brann of Canton, her in-laws, John & Angelina Corea, Binghamton, NY and her brother, Thomas Brann of Wesley Chapel, Florida.
The family would like to express a special thank you to all the staff and volunteers at Mercy House who cared with love and support for Kay in her last days.
