Bruce A. Andrien, Sr., devoted father, passed away peacefully at home on December 25, 2017 in the evening.
Bruce was born on April 11, 1935 in Philadelphia, PA and lived for many years in West Chester, PA. Bruce and his family moved to West Burlington, Pa in December of 1977.
Bruce was a well-known self-employed contractor for all of his adult life. His mastery and passion for building showed through in his work, especially the stonework he took much pride in.
Bruce joined his family in Heaven, which included his wife of over 50 years, Loraine Hall Andrien; parents, Leonard and Rita Andrien; step-father James (aka Big Jim) Andrien; in-laws, Victor and Josephine Hall; brother and sister-in-law, James (aka Jimmy) and Jill Andrien; step brother Jamie Andrien; and 2 nieces and 2 nephews.
Bruce is survived by his siblings, Rita Cassidy of Atlantic City, NJ, Leonard Andrien of West Chester, PA, and Vaune and Joe Bruno of West Chester, PA. Bruce is also survived by his children, Denise and Lawrence (aka Sonny) Mays of West Burlington, Pa; Bruce Jr and Leonora Andrien of Guilford, CT; Lorin and Lorrie (Baxter) Andrien of Canton, PA.

Bruce was an avid fisherman and totally enjoyed deer hunting. He delighted in spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Bruce always shared the hard candy in his pockets with any kids. Bruce was looking forward to playing with and spoiling his next great-grandson.
No formal services will be planned in accordance to Bruce's wishes. Remembrance time will be held at a future date convenient to the family.
