Beverly J. (VanNoy) Weaver, 87,  East Troy, passed away on Friday, February 16, 2018 at the Troy Community Hospital surrounded by her loving family.  She was the wife of the late Theodore “Ted” Weaver who passed away on June 19, 2013.  The couple married November 24, 1955 and had 57 happy years together.
Bev was born on May 25, 1930 in Sylvania, daughter of the late Leslie D. and Faye D. (Dewey) VanNoy.
She originally worked with her parents at the L.D. VanNoy General Store in East Troy, then went off to nursing school at the Arnot Ogden School of Nursing where she earned her Bachelors of Registered Nursing degree. Bev worked for various doctor’s offices and hospitals in the Troy area and finally retired as Nursing Supervisor from the Bradford County Manor.
Bev was a life member of the East Troy United Methodist Church and was the organist and pianist for many years.  Her life was dedicated to the church; where she was choir director, Sunday School teacher, and was a member of the United Methodist Women. Bev was also a member of the East Troy Card Club and volunteered for the American Red Cross.

She was a master gardener, enjoying the multitude of perennial flowers she planted, and was a master seamstress and quilter, and was a lover of cats.
Bev was also an accomplished musician and pianist, giving music lessons to many over the years. Bev was a community volunteer “town nurse”, looking after the health and well-being of many over the years as if they were her own family.  Bev was dedicated to her family and was an amazing wife, mother, and grandmother.
Beverly is survived by children; Leslee Renee Weaver Wagner, East Troy, PA, and Dr. Bradley Duane Weaver, Alexandria, VA;  grandchildren; Shawn Daniel (Tabitha) Wagner, Troy, and Amy Elizabeth Wagner, Chicago, IL;  great granddaughters Lily Aurora Wagner and Everly Rose Wagner;   sister in law Adrianne VanNoy; along with several nieces and nephews, many friends and neighbors.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her brother F. Duane VanNoy.
The funeral was held on February 21, at the Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. Troy.
The funeral to honor Beverly’s life was held at the conclusion of the viewing with Pastor Joshua Davinsizer.
Burial will be private in Glenwood Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made in Beverly’s memory to the East Troy United Methodist Church 9422 Route 6 Troy, PA 16947.
