She was employed as a manager at TOPS Friendly Market, Canton, PA.
Born in Lehighton, she was a daughter of the late Charles J. and Mildred M. (Trice) Reis.
A 1974 graduate of Jim Thorpe Area High School, she was an Army veteran, having attained the rank of SPC4 during the Vietnam War. Surviving are two daughters, Nadia Abdelbaki, and son Landon, of Lemoyne, PA, and Cynthia N. Cauthen of Johnson City, NY; two brothers, Ronald Reis, and his wife, Debbie, and Richard Reis, and his wife Cheryl, and granddaughter, Madison Freeby, all of Jim Thorpe; a niece and a nephew.
A Memorial Mass was held Aug. 26,at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 526 North St., Jim Thorpe, with the Rev. Francis J. Baransky officiating. Interment was in the parish cemetery.
