Marvin was born June 27, 1925 in Overton Township, Sullivan County.  He was the last surviving of 10 children in the family of the late Fred and Harriet (McCarty) Driscoll.
He grew up during the depression years.  He proudly served his country during WWII with the U.S. Army and was stationed in Okinawa for a year.

He will be lovingly remembered as a true patriarch of the Driscoll families.

He and Jule enjoyed attending the Millview Wesleyan and East Canton United Methodist Churches.  They often attended and supported many functions in the community.  He also served on the Canton Area School Board for several years and was elected president of Sherwood’s Personal Care Home.
Marvin was an avid outdoorsman and hunter.
Surviving are his children; Dixie (John) Gross, Slatington, Janet (Elmer) Walburn, Canton and Scott (Deborah) Driscoll, Canton; son-in-law, Jon Phillips;13 grandchildren; Julie Gross Hoffman, Patrick Gross, Michael Gross, John Gross, Jaremiah Phillips, Cara Phillips Laudenslager, Krista Phillips Risser, Daniel Preston, Lee Preston, Jay Preston, Brian Driscoll, Laura Driscoll Brennan and Timothy Driscoll; 25 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and several dear friends.

Calling hours were held  at Pepper Funeral Home and Cremation Facility, Canton and also at the Millview Wesleyan Church.  Pastor William Hargenrader officiated the funeral service at 11 A.M.
