Born in Grover on August 17th, 1934 she was the daughter of Charles and Edith (Fields) Schanbacher.
Anne was a retiree of the Paper Magic Co. in Troy where she had served as Customer Service manager. She was the widow of the late John Lodge with whom she raised a son and daughter. Her pride and joy were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Upon graduation from high school each grandchild was taken by Anne on a trip anywhere in the world. She was also a woman with a deep, abiding faith in the Lord, and was a lifelong faithful member of St. John’s United Methodist Church in Grover. Over the years Anne was faced with various physical challenges and health issues, but she found strength to see them through in the words of Philippians 4:13, a Scripture verse by which she lived: “I can do all things through Christ, which strengtheneth me.”
She was preceded in death by parents Charles and Edith Shanbacher, husband John Lodge, and brothers Fred and Charles Schanbacher.
Calling hours will be 6 to 8 PM Wednesday, June 28th, at Morse & Kleese Funeral Home, Inc., 94 N. Center St., Canton.
