AnnaMary (VanHorn)

   AnnaMary (VanHorn) Hulslander, 94,  East Smithfield, PA passed away on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre.  
    She was the loving wife of the late Alfred W. Hulslander who passed away on September 7, 1986.  The couple married August 30, 1945 and had 41 happy years together.  
 AnnaMary was born on December 1, 1923 in Granville, daughter of the late Luther and Leota (Baxter) VanHorn.
     She was a graduate of Mansfield Teacher’s College (Mansfield University) and was a third grade teacher at the Gladys Burnham Elementary School in Ridgebury, PA from 1966 until her retirement in 2002.  AnnaMary was a member of the Retired Teachers Association of Bradford County, was a member of the East Smithfield United Methodist Church where she was a Bible School and Sunday School teacher, and attended East Smithfield Federated Church.  She enjoyed working crossword puzzles and crocheting in her spare time, but enjoyed spending time with her family and friends most.
    AnnaMary is survived by her children: Allen (Joy) Hulslander, McAlisterville, PA, Donny (Barb) Hulslander, Horseheads, NY, Wade (Robin) Hulslander and JoAnn (Bernie) Petry, both of Columbia Cross Roads; 14 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; sisters: Jean Randall, Troy, and Marcia Martin, Granville; daughter-in-law Judy Hulslander, Columbia Cross Roads, along with several nieces and nephews.  
    She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Alfred; son, Jim Hulslander; grandson Mike Hulslander; granddaughter Heather Rae Silver; and sisters: Christine Dunbar and Janice Wrisley.
 Services for AnnaMary will be private and at the convenience of her family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. 1093 West Main Street, Troy, PA.
 Sons Allen and Donny would like to extend a special thank you to their siblings and their spouses Wade and Robin, along with JoAnn and Bernie for the wonderful care they gave to their mother.
