Allan P. “Fido” Simons, 61, East Smithfield, passed away September 23, 2016 following a heart attack.
Allan was born in Troy on October 2, 1954, a son of the late Lewis Albert Simons and Beatrice (Lee) Simons. He was a graduate of SRU High School class of 1973. Allan was a member of the Monroeton Rod and Gun Club and a social member of the Beirne-Webster VFW Post in Towanda.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Scottie Simons.

Surviving are his brothers, Charlie (Bonnie) Simons and Lee (Diane) Simons, all of East Smithfield, and several uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be private. Burial will be in Tioga Point Cemetery, Athens.
