The most heated discussion was whether or not the township will keep Old Possessions Road as a Township road or turn it back to the DCNR. Most residents would prefer it to be in township hands, but would like to have work done on the road.
Residents were told that the hands of the supervisors were tied, due to the fact they can not get right-of-way permission from all the home owners on the road to go on their properties and dig the much needed ditches so drainage can be improved.
Several residents said they would go door-to-door in order to obtain such permission. "We just want our road fixed," they said.
Supervisors held off on the road turn back vote until further information could be obtained and permission received.
