TROY — Two men from Troy are being charged with terroristic threats after an altercation that partially took place at Croman Elementary.
Joseph Wisniewski, 55, Troy, and Shane Case, 38, Troy, are facing charges from state police after they responded to a report of a male brandishing a handgun in Troy Borough.
According to the documents provided by police, Case allegedly followed Wisniewski for approximately 18 miles on Thursday, April 22, before exiting his vehicle in the driveway of Wisniewski. Case allegedly had a baseball bat.
Wisniewski allegedly responded by retrieving his firearm from his residents and followed Case to the parking lot of W.R. Croman Elementary School at about 10:07 p.m., according to the affidavit.
Wisniewski brandished the firearm and Case allegedly fled the area.
The charges are for possession of a weapon on school property, terroristic threats and harassment for Wisniewski.
For Case, he faces charges of terroristic threats and harassment.
Because of the incident, parents have been concerned that this happened on school property and were wondering if it happened during school hours.

Though the incident happened on April 10, according to Stair, the police report documents state it happened April 22.
Cases have been filed through MDJ-42-3-01. The investigation is still on-going.
