After President Krystle Bristol brought the meeting to order, she went over several events which are coming up.
So far paid members with a goal of 100 are doing well; first time members goal is 20; and 2015 plaques and stickers are available.

Facebook likes are nearing the goal of 1000. So far they have 913.

A report was given by Ms. Chamberlain from County Tourism. She discussed many issues which are now part of her job and said she is enjoying the new position and welcomes everyone to every event.
An added award for Business of the Year is being added this year. Will Hawylo set up the criteria for this award. Also the Person of the Year will be awarded.

President Bristol then introduced the guest speaker for the afternoon, Brent Vincent from Elvan which provides payment services for businesses. He informed the members about the new EMV chip cards and how it works.
This new chip should be in all payment stations in every business as of October 1. This is a change from the magnetic strip. If a business doesn't change how to accept payment, they will be responsible for fraud. Check with you credit card company to get an updated pay station.
