CANTON — The Canton Township supervisors met with retained architect Larry Foor to discuss his proposed plan for a new steel township building.
Foor’s plan would be for a 48 x 104 foot single-sloped building with 5 bays, a small bathroom and small boiler room. With Foor’s spec sheet complete, the township will now move forward with advertising in search of bids for the new building in the coming weeks.
The township’s old F550 truck was officially sold for $54,000 via online auction. Local businessperson Chris Moore won the bid.
After reading bids for trucking, the township awarded their hauling contract to Jennings Trucking.
Finally, the township has been made aware of some illegal trash dumping at the corner of Agway Road and West Union. An investigation will be conducted.
