The ceremony will begin at 11 a.m. in the Community Arts Center, 220 W. Fourth St., Williamsport.
The student speaker will be Kyle Gregory Stavinski, Elysburg, who will be awarded an associate degree in emergency medical services.
Stavinski will also be presented with the Lewis H. Bardo Memorial Award, the Susquehanna Health Program Award for Paramedic and the Paramedic Humanitarian Award.
He is president of the Paramedic Class of 2015 and served as a student representative on the college’s Paramedic Advisory Committee. He also volunteers with the Special Olympics Pennsylvania swim team for Northumberland/Snyder and Union counties.
During the commencement ceremony, the college will present a Distinguished Alumni Award, given to those who have made significant contributions in their chosen fields, demonstrated the importance of their education at Penn College, participated in leadership roles within the community, and demonstrated a commitment to the college and community relations.
Degrees will be conferred by Penn College President Davie Jane Gilmour, accompanied by state Sen. Gene Yaw, chairman of the college’s Board of Directors.
