The event will be held at the community building on Mill Street in LeRoy. Events will take place throughout the day.
At 8 a.m., the annual “closest to the pin” golf game will begin. It will conclude prior to the parade.
Vendors will be available to offer various merchandise.
From 9-11:30, children’s games will be available as well as face painting and snow cones offered.
At 9:30, there will be an auction taking place, with proceeds going to the community association.
The parade lineup will begin at 11:30 a.m., with the parade beginning at noon.
Chicken barbecue will be available for $7/half. It will be sold at 10:30 until sold out. There will be 500 total, first come, first serve.
An eight-foot Amish made picnic table and rocking chair will be raffled off. Raffle tickets will cost $1 each and will be available for purchase the day of the event. Prior to July 3, tickets are available at A&A Country Market, Pepper’s Auction Barn, or from directors Mike Miosi, Ted Tomlinson or Ron Kirby. The drawing will take place after the parade.
Throughout the event, a concession stand will offer sloppy joes, hamburgers, hot dogs, cold drinks, coffee, a variety of baked goods and more for purchase.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, there will be no annual chicken or pork dinner this year. The 5K race will also not be taking place as well. The board hopes that next year, things may return to normal and those events can be held.
The Community Association thanks the community for their support. This is the main fundraiser of the Association and it helps pay for building projects and the Little League program.
