Life Chain participants will line the main streets of Canton holding signs for the hour long life chain which will be held from 2-3 PM on October 4th. The emphasis is upon this being a prayerful witness to the community and the world, that as Christians we are actively participating in our acknowledgement of the rights of the unborn. The life chain will be conducted in total silence.
All interested persons are invited to attend this event being coordinated locally by Mr. Denny Vermilya. Those wishing to participate are being asked to be at the parking lot behind the downtown mini-park at no later than 1:40 pm for instructions. There is no registration fee required. Families are encouraged to participate. Elderly and those that cannot stand for the hour event may feel free to bring a lawn chair with them.
This event is in coordination with Bradford Countians for Human Life. For more information on the National Life Chain, check out www.NationalLIfeChain.org.
