The October minutes were approved and the Treasurer's Report approved with these balances: General Fund, $65,313.63; State Liquid Fuels, $2,817.86; Act 13/ Impact Fee $ 29,401.55; Capital Reserve, $4,136.79; Sinking Fund, $8,582.99; Fire Fund, $ 2,726.86; School House CD; $549.95
The Grader Loan balance is $92,052.84 and the 2008 USDA Grant balance is $31,538.43.
Two trees on the township property were removed by Claverack because they interfered with the electric wires. This was done at no cost to the township.
The Supervisors informed Lycoming County Work release that the township won’t be using their services at this time but in the spring may need their help. We They will be contacted at that time.
Six tractor tires were disposed of by Landon Tire at a cost of $60.
The potholes on Bridge Street were fixed.
K&M installed gutters for the front of the Township Building at a cost of $650.
Frontier was informed of rotten trees on Yorktown Road that could interfere with services.
Penelec has fixed a sagging wire on Hardscrabble Road.
A message was left for Julie Minnier regarding the Masten Road Agreement. There are thirty-two outstanding tax bills as of September 9.
The township is $188.33 short for the 4th quarter payment ($2,860.85) on the fire contract, due December 31, 2014.
The new Ford F550 has been delivered to Watson Diesel for the equipment to be installed and the Township Logo on the doors.
Mr. Guthrie contacted Dave Ward regarding renting his roller on an as needed bases.
The supervisors approved a motion to purchase and install a 30-gallon hot water tank for the Township building at a cost of $303 The tank and a blanket will be ordered from Baldwin's.
There are two places on Hardscrabble and Mill Hill that need work to be done in the spring. Mr. Guthrie will calculate approximately how much material is needed.
The December meeting was changed to the second Tuesday, December 9, and will include the Budget meeting.
Under the Roads Report, Mr. Guthrie said that he had cleared property lines and part of the lot behind the garage; Patched pot holes and sink homes; Put up sluice markers; Put cold patch on Bridge Street Bridge; Got chains for the front of the grader; Equipment is ready for snow. ; Fixed shelf rock on McNett Road.
