Linda began her career with First Citizens as a Proof Operator and Bookkeeper upon graduating high school and then took a break to start her family. She rejoined the company in 1980, and worked in a Loan and Reconcilement Clerk capacity until she was selected to supervise a newly developed customer phone center in 1993. Linda and her team excelled at serving the customers and received many accolades from both customers and other employees. Linda, who was named Employee of the Year in 1994, always had a smile in her voice.
Kathy has 29 years of banking experience, and joined First Citizens in 1990 as a result of the Star Savings and Loan acquisition. During her banking career, Kathy held a variety of positions including teller and new accounts. She was promoted to a lender position in the Troy office in 2006, where she has provided first-class service to customers in the Troy community. Kathy’s support during the Star Savings acquisition was invaluable to her customers and fellow employees. She has always made her customers her top priority.
“We thank Linda and Kathy for their commitment to providing customers with the best possible banking experience,” stated Randall E. Black, CEO and President. “They will be greatly missed. Both Linda and Kathy can take great satisfaction in knowing they helped and had a positive impact on so many people.”
First Citizens Community Bank appreciates Linda and Kathy’s many years of dedication, and extends best wishes to both for a happy and healthy retirement.
