This year, there will be more vendors then ever that have the gift of making and creating handmade arts and craft. The Endless Mo. Crafters decided to open up their festival by looking beyond their group of talented craftsmen and artisans to bring you even more "handmade" products and items.
Some of the new items are matted photos of Pennsylvania, hand knitted alpaca items, felting items, blankets. Some new wood crafts include pole critters, unusual bird feeders, and wood crafts. Hand painted wooden tractors and wheels plus unusual carved birds, lathe bowls, and intarscia. 18" and other baby doll clothes, hand made porcelain dolls from Clovis Hunter Dolls. Also one of a kind jewelry, refurbished wood items, hand made wreaths, down home unique flavors of homemade jams and jellies. Also watch for the unusual items at the "Witch House Designs". They do vintage style paper decorations, holiday art dolls, 3D printed candy containers and jewelry. Many new back country crafts made from old barn boards.
This year the objective is to keep children safe. The Sullivan Co. Sheriff's office will be doing fingerprinting both days from 10:00-3:00. This is one way to find a child if they become lost or taken.
There will be an ongoing book sale sponsored for the Sullivan County 4-H groups. The money from this event helps Sullivan County 4-H'rs to participate in 4-H for free. So whether your interested in mysteries, cooking, or touring around the world, fishing or hunting, the group has a great variety of books for the young and young at heart.
Entertainment on the outdoor stage Sat. will be by local DJ Don Cicaro. He is a bowl full of fun to watch and hear. Sunday the George Lee Band will be country and gospel music.
Come on down and enjoy the beautiful fall days at the Forksville Fairgrounds, Forksville, PA. While there, pick up some pumpkin rolls, cinnamon buns, or apple dumplings. Lots of other food available.
As always, admission and parking are free. Show hours are 10:00 A.M. 4:00 P.M. both days.
If you do any art or handmade crafts and would like to be a part of the show or need more information or directions, call 570-924-4264 or 607-768-1566. The festival is always looking for additional vendors.
