The Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) credential from the Institute for Supply Management is designed to lead the profession by emphasizing the major components of supply management. The CPSM exam prep course at Elmira College provides an overview of the material covered in the certification process with resource articles, case studies and supplemental content developed by subject-matter experts. Classes meet, Saturdays, Sept 12, 26, Oct 10 and 24, 9:00 to 4:00 on the Elmira College campus.
The Cyber Security Certificate course is designed to provide attendees with the knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully analyze their technology environment and develop a company specific cyber security plan. Various cyber security strategies, such as in-house versus vendor support models, are identified and analyzed against example business requirements in order to give students exposure to pertinent quantifiers when applying strategy to plan creation. Additionally, financial aspects of plan creation are analyzed, including the concepts of security enhancement versus insurance policy augmentation. The course concludes with a practical simulation exercise. This course will be offered online from Sept 14 – Oct 25.
