The local cast of The Jungle Book includes Jordon Yellenic as Mowgli the man-cub, Mitchell Wooster as young Mowgli, as well as Alana Castle as Bagheera the panther and Tommy Aurandt as Akela the leader of the pack;
and Cody Jane, Lily Chamberlain, Samantha Morgan, Ben Fitch, Lyle Vermilya, Allyson Butcher, Riley Route, Laci Niemczyk, Melanie Kropf, Sophie Liddy, Alexia Zeigler, Ciannie Ramos, Kylie Landon, Abby Lewis, Grace Chamberlain, Jasmyn Comereksi, Kaitlyn Molyneux, Brianna Rupp, and Michael Asbury make up the entire wolfpack.
Haley Buck is featured as Shere Khan and Victoria Richart plays his sidekick Tabaqui the jackal.
Nag and Nagaina the cobras are Trenton Neitz and Kylia Taft. Darzee the bird is played by Anna Lewis, Ashlynn Husted is featured as Hathi the master elephant and Gabrielle Spencer performs the role of Rikki-Tikki-Tavi the mongoose.
Other featured performers include Mya Allen, Kain Adams, Ty Kellogg, Emmie Tymeson, Carolyn Thoren, Dane Wooster, Rylan Huffman, Zala Huffman, Yelena Morgan, Gracie Fitch, Logan Prouty, and Kaydee Larcom as Kaa the rock-python and Jasmine Wilcox as Buck a buck. Monkeyin’ around throughout the entire show are the Monkey-People, played by Aleecia Seeley, Cailyn VanNoy, Tommy Preston, Madison Palmer, Adriana Yellenic, Aubri Husted, Ryder Route, Michael Seeley, Auruora Groover, Jaylee Ward, Cooper Kellogg, Olivia Kelley, Aaron Prouty, Ali Morgan, Kanon Adams. Nate Landon will serve as Assistant Directors all week.
The Jungle Book will be presented on February 28, 2015 at 2 PM and 7 PM at the Nelle Black Westgate Auditorium in the Canton High School. Tickets are $6 and are available at the door.
