Thomas M Carman has announced his candidacy for a third term as Bradford Co. Coroner. Carman has served with the Bradford County Coroners office for the past fifteen years.
Carman first became certified in 1999 by the Office of Attorney General and Coroners Education Board by attending the Pa. State Police Academy in Hershey, Pa., participating in the Coroners Education Course.
Carman is a member of multiple associations including American College of Forensic Examiners Institute, PA Coroners Association where he serves on the Police Liaison committee, International Association of Coroners & Medical Examiners, International Homicide Investigators Association, Emergency Medical Services of Northeastern PA board member, Bradford Co Gas Well Protection committee, PA Sheriffs Association, Troy Community Hospital Disaster Committee, and is a life member with the Canton Fire Dept. He is the chairman for the Bradford Co Child Death Review team. Carman is a member of the Multi-Disciplinary Team for the Children’s Advocacy Center at the Children’s House in Towanda, and is a member of St. Michaels Roman Catholic Church.
Carman remains active with meeting the educational needs of fire, law enforcement, and medical personnel. Carman is an instructor of many forensic and medical programs for the PA Dept of Health, Bucks Co Community College, American Heart Association, and
