The Public-Private Partnership (P3) project to rebuild 558 bridges all across Pennsylvania is postponing a previously announced bridge reconstruction project in Bradford Co. due to design and permitting issues.
The bridge replacements are part of the Rapid Bridge Replacement Project, a Public-Private Partnership (P3) between PennDOT and Plenary Walsh Keystone Partners (PWKP). PWKP will finance, design, replace and maintain the bridges for 25 years, while PennDOT will maintain ownership of the bridges. The P3 approach will allow faster replacement of bridges while achieving significant savings and minimizing impact on motorists.
