TROY — Troy Borough Council discussed work on the bridge bundle and decided to take action at another meeting.
The bridge bundle includes work on South Railroad and Redington Streets. There are two funding options now, but a possible third in March, which council will review before making a decision on which financial option they take.
Council received a grit removal project update from Borough Manager Dan Close.
Close reported that prior to Christmas, the borough provided grit calculations to Rob Cornetto, who needed them to finish the calculations and finalize the submittal.
There was a “kick off meeting” with Larson Design Group’s electrical and structural team, with the borough’s project engineer and Larry Floor representing architecture. Site visits will be scheduled soon and the electrical team will meet with operators to make sure that they understand the existing system. Once the site visits are completed, the design phase will be gin. Those drawings will be shared with council.
