Two positive comments were received from the public concerning the condition of the roads. Dan Bastion stated Alba Road was well worked and also wanted to thank Mr. Morgan for all the hours he has worked on the roads. Chuck Babcock thanked the Township for the work done on Scott Road, and feels it is the best he has ever seen it.
The minutes of the July meeting: were accepted.
The Secretary responded to several PA One Call Notices: PennDot driving in sign anchor on SR 3032; Harris Excavating repairing driveway for Joe Migano property; Talisman installing drain ditch on Road S; Talisman installing pipeline on Slate Lane and Cleveland Roads
The Secretary was directed to fill out the road sign assessment form from Bradford County Planning and send it in.
The signed contract for the Mountain Avenue Project was received.
A Permit application was received for Chesapeake well in Troy
Matt Riel explained the decommissioning study report from AES
The township returned the form to Bradford County Sanitation Committee for David Patti property
The Treasurer reported these balances: State fund, $3,261.47; State Fund money market, $54,471.50; Township Fund, $20,530.14; Township money market, $2,627.43; Capital Reserve Fund, $265,914.01; First Citizens CD $88,461.77; total of $432,638.82. The Supervisors voted to approve the Financial Report and to pay the bills.
Matt Geer from First Citizens Community Bank gave a presentation regarding CD options for the Township.
Mr. Harris stated that the COG meeting had been postponed.
Mrs. Babcock reported one Building or Driveway Permit, a Permit for a storage building for Thad Woodward
Road Foreman Mr. Harris reported that the township will be asking for Tar and chipping bids.
Sluice pipe work on Scott Road is completed. The township is working on Swamp Road and mowing the roadsides.
Matt Riel announced that AES has been purchased by Allete Clean Energy and expects no changes in personnel. They also are keeping an eye on Road S and will address any drainage issues as needed.
The Township received the Mountain Ave Project bid package and ad from the County. The Board directed the Secretary to have the Township Solicitor review it.
At 8:05 pm the Supervisors approved a motion to adjourn the meeting.
